Chuka soba, also called shina soba, is the most traditional type of ramen. It is usually a very simple ramen dish, with clear soy sauce-based broth and medium-thick noodles. The toppings are also minimal.

Tsukemen is a type of ramen served with noodles and broth in separate bowls, and you eat the noodles by dipping them in the broth little by little.
